Charge Up experience but seeking a better roster or higher rate?
MPI works with many of the major underground mining operations across Western Australia. Rather than applying to every site yourself, speak with us. We’ll give you a clear and honest overview of current opportunities — including rates, rosters, and site details — so you can decide if it’s the right move.
All roles are offered on a temp-to-perm basis (3–6 months), starting with strong casual rates before transitioning to permanent.
We also can find roles for experienced Charge Up operators coming from interstate who don’t yet hold a WA Shotfirer’s Licence and are happy covering flights to WA. Please apply to discuss further.

Current opportunities:
- Multiple underground sites across WA
- Rosters: 8/6, 7/7, 2/1, 2/2
- Casual rates: $900 – $1,100 per day (depending on experience)
- Competitive permanent rates with super paid on all hours
- FIFO roles with immediate starts available
- Fast mobilisation and ongoing pipeline of roles.
- Minimum 6 months Charge Up experience (development and/or production)
- Current WA Shotfirer’s Licence + DGSC
- Able to pass pre-employment medical and police check
- Valid Australian working rights.
