Exploration Geologist

If you enjoy RC drilling but are tired of short-term programs with no continuity, this role offers consistent work, strong support and a clear drilling pipeline.

This position supports an upcoming RC Resource Definition program across multiple rigs. You’ll be responsible for chip logging, sampling, QAQC and daily drill management, working closely with senior site geologists and contractors.

The drilling program is staged and well resourced, meaning you’re stepping into an organised operation rather than a stop-start campaign. You’ll work B2B with an experienced geology team and gain exposure to large-scale, production-focused exploration.

FIFO is 8/6 from Perth to Kalgoorlie (Virgin), Tuesday to Tuesday. Accommodation is in shared housing; a daily food allowance is provided, with self-catering.

This suits geologists with a few years of WA gold experience who want to stay busy, improve their drilling confidence and be trusted to run rigs day-to-day.

There’s room to grow here, learn from experienced seniors and build continuity rather than jumping between unrelated programs. Section 26 is ideal but not essential.

Six-month contract with strong day rates reflective of experience.

If this sounds like a solid next step, apply now.

Unfortunately, MPI Recruitment can only consider applicants with relevant qualifications and experience who are Australian Permanent Residents or hold valid working rights for Australia.
